A remarkable early 20th-century American kitchen piece, this Wear-Ever No. 2210 “Tricolator” coffee pot reflects the ingenuity and utilitarian craftsmanship of its era. Manufactured by the Aluminum Cooking Utensil Company between approximately 1916 and 1923, this heavy-duty aluminum stovetop brewer embodies the durable, industrial aesthetic that defined early American cookware. The classic Wear-Ever hallmark and model number are clearly stamped, confirming authenticity and period production.

The distinctive tricolator design features a multi-part brewing system, with an upper brewing chamber and lower pot engineered for stovetop drip-style coffee preparation. Its sculptural silhouette, curved spout, and substantial form create a striking display presence, while the original black handles—likely early Bakelite—add period-correct character and contrast against the brushed aluminum body.

This is a true antique example, carrying the honest surface wear and patina consistent with a century-old working kitchen piece. Whether curated for a vintage cookware collection, farmhouse display, or industrial-inspired decor, it represents a tangible piece of American culinary history.
