This post-1940 F.B. Rogers silverplate set pairs a footed creamer with a lidded sugar bowl in American Victorian style. The creamer remains open without a lid, while the sugar bowl is crowned by a finial-topped lid. Both pieces have curved handles and rest on tripod cabriole-style feet.
Made in the United States, the matching pieces carry the graceful profile associated with Victorian styling. Their silverplate surfaces show visible scratches along with tarnish and patina. Textured worn areas add further signs of age and use, while no legible maker's marks are visible.
Condition is shown in the photos — be sure to review them closely for all details. A greenish discoloration patch on the underside of one piece joins the scratches, tarnish, and patina across the set. The tape measure in the photos shows the scale of both pieces.
