Shannon Crystal's Designs of Ireland collection drew inspiration from the decorative traditions of Irish crystal, translating them into substantial pieces meant to catch and transform light. This vintage 11-inch vase reflects that heritage through a design that is formal but warm.
Created for Shannon Crystal by Godinger, the piece belongs to the Designs of Ireland line and combines clear crystal with frosted accents. The Fan & Shell pattern takes its name from classic ornamental forms that have appeared throughout decorative arts for generations. Together, those influences connect the vase to an older vocabulary of European design.
Beyond holding flowers, vessels like this became decorative objects in their own right, bringing the brilliance of crystal into everyday surroundings. This example preserves that spirit, linking Godinger with the Irish-inspired tradition behind the collection.
