This signed original elephant painting presents a striking African wildlife scene, with a large tusked elephant standing among tall grasses and natural vegetation. Layered gray and brown tones define the elephant, while expressive green, ochre and blue brushwork creates texture and movement throughout the surrounding landscape.
The artwork is signed at the lower right, although the artist's signature has not been identified. It is displayed in an ornate dark-toned frame with raised gold detailing, a linen-look inner border and additional gold trim. The reverse shows stretched canvas construction with hanging wire already attached.
The framed piece measures approximately 22" tall by 28" wide. It remains in good pre-owned display condition with age-related wear consistent with previous ownership. Please review all photos for exact condition, signature and additional details.
